| “When we were looking for a daycare arrangement for our infant son, we visited a few daycare centers. Small Wonders was our last visit and we were referred by a friend and co-worker. We found Small Wonders to be the warmest, roomiest, cleanest of them all. Although they may not have all of the bells and whistles that some other centers do, they have what is most important--friendly, caring staff who truly love our child and enjoy spending time with him each day. They strive to keep the center clean and secure and they handle all concerns in a very professional and friendly manner. It makes it so much easier to go to work knowing that we are leaving our son in loving and caring hands. I love that a learning curriculum is started early--our son has learned so much and is advanced in so many areas because of it. Our pediatrician is impressed with his social, verbal and physical skills and I have to give some of the credit to Small Wonders. They encourage him to be the crazy, fun-loving, active kid that he is. | “Almost 5 years ago we were looking for daycare that we felt we could trust with our first child. When choosing a daycare facility (or school as we call it since the educational program begins at 12 months) we didn't want simply one person or a ‘Mommy substitute.’ We felt that being a part of a larger school was important because part of learning is learning to get along with others and not just learning to read and write. We asked around and toured a few places and decided that Small Wonders was the best. The first few days were hard, leaving such a precious child to someone you hardly know, but it was not long until we got to know the teachers and have come to trust the administrative staff to take care of any problems that may arise. After a while we decided we liked the place so much we decided to have another child. Both have been there since they were infants. The oldest is ‘almost five’ as she will be happy to tell you, and the youngest is three. Many days the children are having so much fun that it takes awhile to leave at the end of the day. They each have a large box of art work from over the years which they enjoy looking at, adding additional art work and sharing with relatives. I asked our oldest what she liked best about ‘school’ and she said ‘I like art, making collages, playing with my friends.’ Knowing there are at least two caregivers per room puts us at ease, and the administrative staff is just down the hall and simply a quick phone call away. Our daughter knows next fall she will start kindergarten but has already asked if she can be a Summer Camper at Small Wonders. We are both involved in education and over the years have found that you get more out of any program if you take part in all you can. Both of our kids have been involved with tumble bus and our daughter loves taking dance classes. From time to time there are days where there are parties and they ask if any parents can help out. It is understood that many can't make it due to scheduling, but I encourage you to make it to as many as you can, your kids will love the special treat of seeing you.” |

The staff genuinely cares for the kids. The preschool education is excellent. | To the staff of Small Wonders Learning Center : We are happy to write this recommendation with regard to the wonderful and caring staff associated with Small Wonders. Our son has been attending this facility approximately one year, when the closing of his prior daycare necessitated the need to find new child care. Of course, we took the time to extensively explore several different day care options, and we believe that we've selected the absolute greatest option in choosing Small Wonders Early Learning Center. We specifically chose this center because of the professionalism of the staff and the kindness of the educators. There is such a strong focus on learning and helping a child recognize their full potential. We can't express just how much our son has learned since attending this daycare. His vocabulary has increased dramatically. It should be noted that the teachers don't "baby talk" the children, which is very important to us. The words and phrases that he's picked from his up from his teachers are likened to that of a kindergartner. And our son is only three. People who meet our son are completely blown away by how well he speaks and the things that he says. He has truly blossomed in this environment, which has a tremendous focus on learning while having fun. There is so much focus on activity and energetic play (specifically with both the indoor gymnasium and outdoor play areas) and there is structure built in to each days planned curriculum. This is not the type of daycare where children sit idle all day with no real stimulation. We have always recommended, and spoke so highly of, this center to other parents that we've spoken with. It is absolutely worth every penny spent, considering that this is a portion of your child's life that is the most formative.
