| Small Wonders, Inc. has been licensed by the State of Michigan since 1985. The Warren location was built in 1996. We are privately owned and operated. Small Wonders is a developmental program that helps children learn through play by promoting positive self-respect, creativity, language development, self-discipline, good health habits, sharing, and other readiness skills. Our program has been designed to promote growth & development in all areas: physical, social, emotional, and intellectual. Each classroom is divided into learning centers such as: blocks, science/math, sensory, language/reading, dramatic play, small motor, computer, and art. We also have an indoor gym. This allows the children to build and practice gross motor skills even on rainy days. Our parking lot is secured with a gate in which families and staff are required to type in a code in order to enter. All of our doors are locked from the inside and visitors are only let in by Small Wonders Inc. staff All adults picking up children are required to have identification before a child is released. We encourage parents to participate in our center activities and to visit us often! We believe that parent and teacher communication is the key to a successful childcare experience! Video cameras have been added to all of our classrooms. These are for Small Wonders Inc. private use for training and safety purposes and are not available for public or parent viewing. Small Wonders is a Tree Nut and Peanut free Center! |
